I'm cheerleading the truth which means this Iranian imminent danger is manufactured bunk. Manufactured specifically by Netanyahoo, and sold via AIPAC to our Congress. It's Iraq all over again.

We're still trying to figure out this one. Who has the higher rank in the US Government? Obama or Netanyahu?

I don't know about Netanyahu, but Putin and Medvedev certainly outrank Obama in the US government.

He said "eliminate." Like Netanyahu eliminated Yitzhak Rabin over the Oslo Accords.

I suspect by rational he means they aren't self-destructive.

There's still a very good chance that Iran will give up their nuclear ambitions peacefully

It benefits Iran to maintain a certain level of threat because that's an obvious driver of the price of oil. The rest of the world understands that. We and (surprise) Israel are really the only two nations with our panties in a bunch over this.

Still sprouting the same old misinformation, zenwalk?

    1) The sanctions aren't helping Iran economically. 2) US and Israel are not the only two nations that are "upset".

Upset enough to propagandize the issue? Nope, just the US and Israel.

Exactly. Love a foreign policy that builds a coalition.

Exactly!! And it is pathetic. What drives our fear (in government) of Iran is completely irrational, based on a bunch of rhetoric. The nuttiness of Ahmadinejad is simply a counterbalance to the nuttiness of Nuttyyahoo, (as he was to bush as well) If there were a less hawkish / insane PM in Israel, there would be a less hawkish / insane President in Iran.
