As has been noted, the Marine didn't just "criticize" the president. He said he wouldn't obey the commander in chief's orders. And he was warned by his superiors to stop, several times. How can anyone possibly argue that he shouldn't be discharged?

This is not an Obama issue. This is an insubordination issue. Can't follow orders, hit the bricks.
No, you don't have the right to openly criticize or openly disobey an superior officer in the military. Obama is the commander-in-chief, no matter how much the far-right hates that.
He's not getting a lot of sympathy from my military friends (and they are split over Bradley Manning).
This isn't much different from employees getting fired for criticizing their bosses on FB or other social media.
