My original title of this thread, that was moved from the National forum, went something like this:

"White mob (with sticks) attack black person".

It was meant to be a play on all the theads over there, about black mobs attacking whites. But this story has a happy ending.

i was vaguely familiar with him but after last night's game ended I googled him .......

after reading a few bio's on him I spent about an hour reading the bio's on the wiki page on blacks in the nhl ........

some pretty interesting stories on there .......

they even had pages on latinos and asians in the nhl .......
