    Obama's budget was defeated.

    http://talk.baltimoresun.com/showthread.php?t=314701

    Just like Obama's budget for 2009, 2010, 2011 etc..

Therefore any and all budget deficits are squarely on the shoulders on the republicans....

This is where I point out why so many on the far-right ignore facts and just listen to their talk show masters.

The debt Obama inherited still goes up. Each year the spending for past programs initiated by prior Presidents cost more. Obama's problem is and was he never stopped the stupid bills passed by Congress and Bush under Bush's term. Six years of spending and giving to the rich cost us now and will for years to come. Stop the gifts and cut the programs and ear marks the Republicans passed and you will see a decrease. Bush even tried to hide the cost of the two wars.

Whatever Obama inherited is not the issue. What has he done to reduce the debt?
    My children are my legacy.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Taxes are arguably too low. We pay much less in taxes than most industrialized countries

He hasn't raised taxes. Are you willing to pay higher taxes to reduce the debt?

It seems every time he wants to do something the right votes no. Unlike the last time he had the votes, this time he will bury the right. The Country is about to get started right after Nov and the right will lose both the Senate and the Congress.

But pubs voted for the spending then, yet you are angry the President doesn't fix the problem quick enough.

Again a total overhaul of the entire political system needs to happen. This finger is pointed towards both parties. Until then spending won’t be stopped and the national debt will continue to sky rocket. If things continue to spiral out of control history will repeat itself. And when I mean a repeat of history an internal war will occur. We broke away from England through the Revolution due to the increasing taxes and political BS they were trying to set in place.
