Why didn't pubs call for this under the guy who started the problem? Why now. Hmmmmmmm

    Just like Obama's budget for 2009, 2010, 2011 etc..

Therefore any and all budget deficits are squarely on the shoulders on the republicans....

This is where I point out why so many on the far-right ignore facts and just listen to their talk show masters.
So the Dems were for Obama's budget? Yea okay, maybe a few. How come Harry does not bring Barry's Budget to the floor for a vote?

There is a ton of blame on Bush for this mess. But right now Obama has the helm and he has not set this country on the correct course in my opinion. Again do you blame a single Democrat for this mess?

Maybe this was a debt failure on Obama's adminastration. Add up the billions of dollars and the number of jobs lost.

No, because the crooks and liars will never apply increased taxes to reducing the debt. They will spend more increasing the debt even higher. They have sold this country down the toilet.

Actually they are too low. The republicans would/will never let them get too high.

To many many Americans any amount of tax is too high and yet these same Americans want safe bridges, clean water, properly inflated 747 jet tires and rodent free restaurants.

I agree. Taxes should be raised during war time. Everbody has to sacrifice. All those let's go get them cats need to feel the pain as well, since they won't pick up a gun.

How much tax is enough? Most of us don't mind paying taxes for the things you mention. We would like government to be more responsible with our money though. Corporate bailouts and entitlement programs is not being responsible. Without the waste and inefficiency of where our tax dollars go, the tax rates would be just fine where they are. Let's keep the safe bridges, clean water, properly inflated 747 jet tires and rodent free restaurants....let's lose the bailout and entitlement mentality. I bet we can fund America on the current tax rates if we do that!

Alot more than the approximately 10% overall rate (federal income tax revenue vs income)

    Personal Income US 2010 = $12 Trillion

    http://bber.unm.edu/econ/us-tpi.htm

    2010 Income tax revenue = $1090 Billion

    http://www.usgovernmentrevenue.com/yearrev2010_0.html

    Thats about 9%

Nothing, because the REPUBLICANS keep voting down every budget that Obama submits..

That is a fact... So I'm assuming Mom49of4, you are blaming the REPUBLICANS for these deficits we are currently accumulating? Or are you just going to play the HATE OBAMA card, and blame Obama for it instead?
