It could be exciting, of course it could also be crushing.

    Here's to hoping for exciting.

I'm going up to NYC for one of the games in the Yankees series.

I'm excited to see how it fares. I think we're in good shape if we can go .500

    Let's see your break down.

    I'd say 7-8

    2/3 at the sox
    1/3 at the Yanks
    2/4 vs the Rangers
    1/2 vs the Yankees
    1/3 vs the Rays

Have to give credit for the sweep earlier.

What do you see in the match ups that makes you predict that the results will be so drastically different from two weeks ago?

Right, but in which match ups, where do we match up better?

I say we have better pitching right now, but they have a stronger offense. So that's somewhat even, but they have the home field.

I made a prediction. So did you.
You'll just have to find out who ended up more righter.

I made a prediction based on what I see in the match ups. You made up a number. It's the difference between setting odds for horses and going to 7/11 and buying a lottery ticket.

There really is a difference there, unless you have some baseball analysis to back up 11-4 it's just a made up number.

    eh, that's your take.
I'm happy with my prediction and can't wait for the Orioles to get at it.

They are currently 6 games over .500 14-8, yeah? If they manage to come out of this set of 15 still over .500, shoot I'll take it. That would be 5-10 giving them a 19-18 record. I think they will do better than that but only by a game or two. I'll predict 7-8 as well.

I will be happy if they win half of the games. Texas especially worries me - even more than any of the other teams. Their bats are so good that they could really destroy guys like Hunter.

This. When I looked at the next 15 games, this 4 game series with the Rangers was by far my biggest worry.

    Matchups in The Bronx are:

    Hammel - Kuroda
    Matusz - Hughes
    Arrieta - Nova

I'm thinking this will be a carbon copy of 4/9-4/11.

Back to the basement in the matter of a few short weeks.
