    Default Buccaneers sign Eric LeGrand

    Classy move.

In a symbolic gesture, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Rutgers defensive tackle Eric LeGrand, whose playing career was ended by a spinal cord injury, on Wednesday morning.

LeGrand played for Tampa Bay coach Greg Schiano at Rutgers. In a game Oct. 16, 2010, against Army, LeGrand suffered fractures of two vertebrae and a spinal cord injury.

Read this story at lunch today. Very nice thing for Tampa Bay to do!

Very impressive. I was watching Dancing with the Stars last night and that dancer who had the embolism that paralyzed him was another great story. Wow two heart stoppers in two days. Life does have it's moments.
