Default JT Ready, Border Vigilante, Blamed for Mass Murder, Had State Republican Party Ties

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1475985.html
A border vigilante and avowed white supremacist who police believe killed four people and himself in a suburban Phoenix home on Wednesday was once allied with the Republican Senate majority leader who pushed through Arizona's harsh anti-illegal immigration bill in 2010.

Police in Gilbert, Ariz. said evidence at the scene indicated that Jason Todd Ready, 39, shot and killed his girlfriend, the woman's daughter and her boyfriend, and her 15-month-old granddaughter before turning the gun on himself. Hazardous chemicals and "military grade munitions" were found at the home, police said.

Ready, a former Marine known as "J.T.," founded and led the U.S Border Guard, a vigilante group that conducted heavily armed patrols of the Arizona-Mexico border with the aim of disrupting the flow of illegal immigration and drug smuggling.
Also an invited speaker at Tea Party events. Not anymore, I guess!

This is another one of those topics (criticizes a right wing figure) that the mods don't want anyone to see, so chances are good it will be deleted again soon.

    Get it while you can!

He was a Tea Party darling when he was waddling around the desert chasing Mexicans.

He was a pal of that Sheriff Joe too.

This looks like a typical (well not typical in one sense) domestic violence crime. Sad.

It is sad, and it seems like murder/suicides are increasing.

I wonder when the Tea Party or the Mormons will do anything to denounce and control these kinds of folks in their ranks. It's only fair to ask, right?

Unlike the left wingnut violent terrorists in Ohio and California his violence was not political. I don't know much about this ready guy but he sounds like a horrible and sick person. I wish he had just killed himself and left the rest of the family alone.

Unlike the left that you generalize and vilify, he actually killed people and you are making excuses for him.

Shouldn't the Tea Party denounce this popular speaker of theirs?

The idiots in Ohio would tried to kill massive numbers of people. Only their stupidity prevented mass casualties.

No they wouldn't have, the explosives were all fake.

But this guy's bullets were all real. He didn't need the FBI to persuade him into action.

You are such a partisan hack. I can see you waiting at the back door of the DNC anxiously awaiting the days talking points so you can try to smear the Tea Party and draw unwarranted connections and conclusions. I know Obama fears the Tea Party, and try as hard as the propaganda machine can, it won't erase or tarnish the Tea Party.

It's just a little taste of your own medicine. It's almost cruel too, since for every little property damage BS some black bloc anarchists manage to pin on the OWS, there are real murders that could be pinned on the tea party using that same logic. I hope you are getting the lesson.

I seriously doubt it. Even today their focus and efforts seem to be elsewhere ~ either on continuing pesonal attacks on other posters or on attempting to draw some sort of equivalency elsewhere to deflect from the actual topic of the thread involving who and what Ready was.

It's getting scary out there. Just the other day the FBI popped a bunch of Obama campaign volunteers plotting to blow up a bridge in Ohio.

Not to worry. The Nazis plan to keep patrolling.

"In 1996, while serving in the Marine Corps as a lance corporal, Ready was court-martialed twice. The first time, after being absent for eight days without authorization, he was convicted of unauthorized absence, failing to follow an order or regulation, and larceny and wrongful appropriation. He was convicted, demoted to private and jailed for three months. Later that year, Ready was court-martialed again for conspiracy, assault, and wrongful solicitation and advice. He was found guilty, spent six months in detention, and was discharged from the Marine Corps for bad conduct."

(He was dishonorably discharged from the Marines...........twice!)

He faced Court Marshall twice... Dishonorably Discharged once. Once you are Dishonorably Discharged you can't reenlist.

Guess all past military folks didn't know that

BTW your link doesn't have any info on his USMC service
