Is any of this game on the 3rd string catcher we have calling the game?

On the sports call-in shows the last couple seasons, that was the common ****** I heard about the team: that they swung too much at the first pitch. So annoying, as if there's something wrong with doing this, in and of itself. You can get lot of home runs by being aggressive on first pitch strikes...

This is the kind of loss that sends teams into a tailspin. Expect 4 or 5 more losses in a row after this.

I'm sure some of it is. Can't say we would have won with Wieters behind the plate though.

I could probably throw a 6 run inning in a MLB game too.

    That was probably mental.

I think Reynolds' problems are physical.

Chris Davis' fastball is better than Berken's

Certainly when it's a low-speed meatball over the heart of the plate.

No, this is the kind of loss that in the past has sent the O's into a tailspin. Other teams that are actually good lose blowouts and go on to win. We'll see how the O's respond.

Didn't you get the memo? We went from first to worst in 9 innings.

These kind of losses don't send you into a tailspin. Blowing a 9th inning lead always sends us into a tailspin. This one players easily forget about

Two bad starts in a row. Completely overmatched by a good team, with an endless line of them coming in May, (with one break at KC).

We won't be talking about this start in 3 weeks.

Ditto on that, but I have to say I can't be too mad about a guy who hasn't relieved all season not being about to get it going.

I don't think it's horrible even if we go 1-3 in this series. Getting swept might affect the psyche though.

JJ Hardy the player of the game. Right. Whatever.
