Default Epson all in one fax/Comcast voice

This may not be Epson specific, but that's what I've got.

I had an old HP OfficeJet all-in-one. I have a single Comcast Voice phone line with voice mail. With the HP, if a fax call was coming in, we'd pick up the phone when it rang, heard the whistle and punched in 1-2-3 on the phone to receive the fax.

I just installed an Epson Artisan 837 all-in-one. We can fax out just fine, but can't seem to receive. It doesn't use the 1-2-3 thing.

The way I have it set up is a two-way splitter in the phone jack, with one line going to the phone in the same room, and a second going to the printer in a different room.

Anybody have any experience with this type of situation? If I haven't been clear in my description, ask me more questions.

    Thanks.

Never mind, I think I've got it.
