    Atticus--

I think the number of states may be right where there are referenda for consitutional amendments.

Not all of these popular votes were referendums some were constitutional amendments banning gay marriage. But there had been a poplar vote in 31 states.

Rick perry gave in to the Hispanic voting bloc in Texas that is apparently more loyal to their race than to te nation or else they would side with America against the illegal aliens.

No Starbucks-drinking Prius drivers go to church?

And comparing states I personally know a few people who chose Maryland over north Carolina and Virginia because of the more generous Medicaid and other government programs here. While you liberals only response to those of us pointing out nc and va lower taxes and tolls is for us to move there. Apparently we are not allowed to suggest learning from other states in being leads liberal allowing less illegal immigration and using lower taxes. Ad y'all want to tax anyone making over 100000 a year. Guess you prefer a illegal alien or welfare freeloader over a hardworking middle class person here.

Virginia and North Carolina are extremely anti-gay states.

Dunno about Baltimore, but in the DC area, your standard Prius + Obama sticker also has an athiest type sticker, but ironically also a coexist sticker too. I doubt highly they are churchgoers.

Not a single person in the church I go to has a prius. An also I don't take all churches seriously. Like those people including pastors who claim to be Christian and support abortion and gay marriage do not truly follow the bible.

Starbucks is only good for some things it is overpriced and not worth it though .

Look at obamas church with Jeremiah wight. 20 years there Obama has learned to hate white people and hate america but never learned that abortion and gay marriage are wrong.

Are you sure about that? Maybe they just don't drive it to church because of judgmental people like you. Seriously?? A Prius??

Long range you do have to wonder, with O'Malley-Miller-Busch raising taxes on incomes over $100K, at which point middle class people decide it's not cost-effective to live (or retire) here and begin to vote with their feet to more congenial climes.

Maryland never has been afraid to be the first state to do something. In fact we're kinda famous for Maryland Firsts. Maryland was the First state to legislatively pass a Medical Marijuana Law. All the other states Medical Marijuana Laws were passed by referendum. So it really wouldn't surprize me to see Maryland be the first state to pass a gay marriage law by referendum. Maryland is not afraid to do the right thing and we also are not afraid to lead the way in doing the right thing.

Funny how "extremely anti-gay" states seem to have lower taxes than pro-buggery states.

    Why might that be?

So now all Prius owners are not church goers. Your polling is suspect. Also one sided.

You obviously go to a liberal church. They probably don't even believe in God there!

    Creekman--

BTW, the plural of "Prius" is "Prii".
