Default Mason wants to retire as a Raven

Classy move by a classy player IMHO. I know people grouse about his tendency to shoot off his mouth and make things all about himself, but he is hardly alone in NFL for being that way. I prefer to remember things like the touchdown he caught (against the Cowboys I think) with one hand because he couldn't lift his other arm due to a shoulder injury. He's a gutsy gamer and any team would be glad to have a guy like that in his prime.

He was a warrior. I enjoyed his time in Baltimore.

Why would he want to do that? Everybody hates the Ravens!

Joe could be given an opportunity to try. I think Mase would tear him up. Just cuz he's bigger doesn't mean Joe's nastier.

Mase earned the right to retire proud as a Raven. He was the best receiver we've had and played clutch for us and hurt for us.

I am glad to see he wants to retire in the purple and black.

    Great idea !
Now, what about Ring of Honor (which I wish the Ravens would change to "Nest of Honor")?

Interesting. I might have thought he would want to retire from Tennessee, given that he was drafted by them, spent more time there, and lives in Tennessee. But I think that says a lot about the Raven's organization that he feels he wants to retire as a Raven.

I think he's wants to forgive and forget how he left the Ravens....but not the Titans

AH yes yor going to immortalize the player who cost the team a game with his tantrums, grabbed his QB by the helmet yet was run out of title town? Just shows how the way thiest run things is why Irsay left, The Colts only retire Champions, PeyGoat, UniGoat, etc.

This whole, lets sign a fake one day contract thing athletes do is a nice gesture, but its not "retiring as a raven"

Whoever you took your last snap for, that's who you retired from.
