While I think it's a neat movie, like anything that M Night Shamawhatever his night makes, this one was the most obvious one. Normally I'm horrible about solving movie mysteries, but even I figured this out within 3 guesses.

He started out with a good idea but blew it at the end. Hitchcock did the same thing in Vertigo, where he couldn’t just end it the way it should have ended but instead had the movie’s characters come back to walk you through the whole thing just in case you didn’t “get it” while you were watching the story the first time through. Damn shame really. They both could have been really good films instead of just okay ones.
