When he said some teams were all for long tossing and others weren't I wanted to know what approach the Rangers take and a few paragraphs later this genius writer obliged me. I hope the O's are doing the right thing here, it's probably way too soon to say.

All for it. I think you've either got it or you don't. Arm injuries are inevitable for almost all pitchers. We've gotten way too quick to blame injuries on everything else other than genetics and sometimes just dumb luck. Coddling an arm that just isn't built for heavy major league work does nothing but stunt overall development, block other players, delay important decisions, and reset the clock on finding good pitching.

The Rangers sported one of the worst ERAs in the majors for what, a decade? The sharp turn for the better followed eerily close to their organizational philosophy change. Take that for what you will...

I'm constantly amazed how teams baby young pitchers and the injuries mount up and nothing changes. It's all cover your butt stuff. "We babied him and his arm fell off boss. What can we do?" Props to Rangers,O's and others for trying something different

There's nothing in the world that your body doesn't get better at when it repeats it over and over and over. Pitchers used to throw 300 innings and not kill themselves. Now there are a dozen TJ surgeries a year. The human body hasn't changed in 50 years.

Strengthen the arm to the point that throwing 100+ pitches isn't completely exhausting, and you can do it more often. I'm all in on this kid. He's going to be awesome.

And this is coming from ME.

Thank you. Are we really supposed to believe Cy Young, 3 fingers Brown and other pitchers 100 years ago had stronger arms and better workout methods?

Seattle is going to be kicking themselves in the nuts for taking Hultzen and passing over Bauer, Bundy, and Archie Bradley.

I said at the time that they were taking a B- to B level arm in Hultzen because he could help them (not) compete immediately, when there were several A to A+ level arms available.

And Bundy might very well be the best player overall in that class. Gerrit Cole has a great arm but his mechanics are an absolute mess. Still a long way to go, but at least to this point, the O's made the right decision. If I was going to take another player instead of Bundy, I'd have wanted Bauer. Arizona made out like bandits getting he and Bradley.

Do I detect a little jealousy there? Evan probably wishes the Rays had some bandwagon fans.

Why would the D-Rays or their fans for that matter be jealous of the Orioles?

    Liar.

You are afraid to back up your mouth with a bet, the entire board sees it every time you post.

You said the Colts will win 10+ games, you were challenged to a bet, you said "ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, BRING IT!"

You are a liar because you continue to run away and hide like a little girl.

    Man up Sally.

    And stop lying.

Because they just lost two in a row to the Orioles and are two games back of them in the standings?? Did I get it right??

Oh that's right we don't state facts here, we make generalized predictions that rarely come true and then either make ridiculous excuses or cower in a corner like a little mouse.

Hey.....I mean.....the NYY lost two in a row to you too a few days ago. And yet.....for some reason Im hard pressed to think they'd be jealous of you either.

I make no excuses for anything. I call it like I see it and never back down or run away from it.....I have to much testestosterone for that.

Probably the biggest LIE I have ever read. You've just added one more person to your ignore list. I can't argue with someone that is living in a complete fantasy world, especially when there is proof of their faults for everyone to see. It would be like aruging with a mental patient. DONE with YOU FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

This must be the hormone that makes you a little bi tch.

I wonder if it's related to Testosterone.

Funny how he can point out other's minor typing mistakes while he Murders the English language like it's his job.
