Default Kathleen Kennedy Townsend delivers major speech. Is she planning a comeback?

This is a transcript of her speech delivered on May 9, 2012. Could she be contemplating a comeback? Did she really write this by herself?

Another truly inspirational democrat liberal "leader". But she seemed like a decent person and that's good enough for me, better her than conceit O'malley, Mr ambition.

KKT is the Sarah Palin of the Democratic Party.

She's entitled to her opinions, but I can't see anyone voting for her. Then again, this is Maryland, isn't it?

Kathy Townsend, name dropper. Didn't like her before, don't like her now.

    "the right has shrunk God"
"In fact, many young evangelists are not content to be against abortion and gay marriage."
"Our political dialog focuses on the right of individuals to stay different and to pick and choose at will their own models of happiness and fitting life style, not on how we work together to build a better society for all. The very idea of improving society through legislative action is under attack."
But times are tight and she may be looking to get on the public payroll. Hope she stays out of Maryland. What real passion did she ever have for the state other than it's a Democratic safe habor close to Washington?

Proves the old saying, much talk and little to show for it.

She still could beat anything the Republicans could throw at her.

The Republican Party in Maryland is pretty pathetic.

I wonder why Martin was scared off from running against her in 2002? He clearly wanted the seat and could have gave her a serious primary challenge.

You're absolutely right. Remind me now; How many points did she win by in 2002?

    Now that's funny!
She delivered the MD governorship to the Republican Party, the first time in what 40 years with a 2/3 Dem advantage--- she's got to be the worst candidate ever put forth by either party.

Perhaps she could adopt another state like she did Maryland.

As opposed to the party that has raised taxes more than anyone in Maryland history to cover their out of control spending...and is going for more in the next two days? You don't think that's pathetic? Please don't insult our intelligence.

    Hmmm...Doesn't understand the differences between:

    - Migrant farm workers vs illegal immigrants
    - Immigrants vs illegal immigrants
    - Prejudice vs dislike for people who break the law

The main plank in her platform last time was "After all, my middle name is Kennedy."
Didn't understand that being close to "Uncle Ted" was not really a major selling point on the right or the left.

Doesn't seem to know much of anything about anything.

I believe that the current crop of Maryland Republicans still includes Erlich, who beat her by 4 percentage points in an overwhelmingly Democratic state.

I disagree. Pipken would wipe the floor with her. In fact I hope he runs for governor in the next election
