??????!!!!!!!! Okay, I definitely think HIV is a scourge and public awareness of its risks should be raised but sensationalism is self defeating. It seems unlikely that half of transgenered Asians could have HIV. Are a large percentage of people with HIV in Asia transgender? Quite likely. But that is quite different from saying that half of Asian transgender folk have HIV.
