Not trying to be funny, but do you think that a man that is really effeminate, has to be gay. I only ask because I know at least one guy that I don't believe is gay because lives as a straight man so to speak, and he doesn't seem concerned enough about what people think to try and hide it. Most people are like pfft that man is gay! I really don't think so though.

Interesting topic. I can’t recall the last time I encountered someone and wondered if they were gay or not.

I agree with this. Sometimes there are subtle hints to tip you off.

As for "gaydar": I don't know that I have ever missed, meaning not picking up that someone was gay; I have mistakenly thought people who are straight were gay though.
Your comment suggests an issue that may be relevant here. If someone is filled with hatred or rage over some issue (or just in general) , and he happens to encounter someone who is more even tempered or more positive in their outlook, is it likely that the first person (with the hostile feelings) will perceive or at least suspect the second person of being "gay"?

So far, it's been extremely accurate.
So you're saying that you actually personally knew some anti-gay guys, and they turned out to be gay? Thats happened how many times with you and your friends?

"extremely accurate" implies a large sample. Are you saying that you're real close to lots of anti gay folks and you've followed their love life closely, and noted when they actually show up with a same sex lover?

I've been fooled a few times. In each case the guy was from the South and raised by women. Seemed oh so gay but was oh so straight.

Hmmm, it appears I'm one of those people who is unable to judge a person's sexual orientation merely by looking at them. Perhaps it has something to do with me not being in the habit of prejudging people.

So true, so so true. You know what else is nice? Not being in the habit of patting yourself on the back. LOL

Obviously, you can't see anything, effeminate or otherwise, on a blog......you are obviously delusional.

so....is it true that Obama's drug supplier Ray, who was acknowledged in his year book, was gay? Maybe this is why O has come out in support of ss marriage
