Did you see the stats they posted at the beginning of the fifth? The guy is lights out for four innings, then just implodes from the fifth inning on. Be grateful he made it to seven. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.

He was getting gassed as it was 7IP....sometimes the PC is misunderstood as he could be worn a bit who knows.

I can see how it could build Hunter's confidence, in seeing his own good performance over the 7 IP......however, one could look at that the other way, though, and wonder if Hunter thinks that Buck has no confidence in HIM. It seems like it could be a double-edged sword...

He was getting hit hard in the 7th. Lots of balls right to our defenders. I'd imagine he wouldn't have been so lucky in the 8th

He's a pitcher that could do well if he could stop throwing it out over the middle of the plate.
Thanks to his middle of the plate style, he can only face the other team so many times before they start to tee off on him.
