    Unhappy Chuck Brown

    A DC institution died yesterday. Another musician from my youth died, at least he was 75 and seemingly lived a full life..RIP Chuck

    What a terrible year - Chuck Brown, Donna Summers, Dick Clark, Don Cornelius, Adam Yauch (Beastie Boys) Whitney, Donald "Duck" Dunn (Booker T and the MGs amongs others), Etta James, Charlie Pitts (guitarist from the The Theme from Shaft) Mike Hossack (Doobie Bros drummer), Levon Helm, drummer for the band, and Jimmy Ellis from the Trammps.
