Only one of them was a paid professional with a college degree And one of them was in charge of setting the tone for what is acceptable behavior.
    Respect is earned. Not given.

I find it humorous that the teacher was so sure that the Office of President made Obama immune from criticism. I am sure that she felt that she was above criticism in the classroom.

She was trying to intimidate and threaten the student from a position of power....that is Bullying......the fact that she is a psycho is irrelevant

I think everyone is throwing around the term bully because they somehow makes them feel better. If you look at the definition and characteristics of a bully, she isn't one. Any teacher who is that insecure that they flip out when asked a simple question doesn't fit the profile for a bully. Again, I think what she did was incredibly wrong and unprofessional, I just disagree with jumping on the "she's a bully!" bandwagon. I think she can be punished without having to misuse a term.

I said that in an earlier post. You must've missed it.

She was wrong, not only for letting things escalate to where they did, but she was also lacking basic political insight and awareness.

I stand by my posts that both parties needed to take a higher road. But in the classroom the teacher is the one who is supposed to be in charge. My objections about the student's comments rest on the language mostly.
