Default Any possibilities to bring in a decent hitter ?

so I don't have to watch that washed up glass boy Nick Johnson fail when the game is on the line ? Twice more last night.

There has to be somebody available other than this guy hitting a miserable
.183. or even Endy Chavez for that matter with his .133 avg.

    Bill Hall....yep he's the answer.

There has to somebody on the market to help this team.

You are correct as you frequently are (except for predictions). Vlad would be the icing on the cake (so to speak).

Johnson's replacement is already under roof. He just needs a little more practice at Norfolk before he can come up and take over 3rd allowing Betemit and Davis to cover 1st. But it all does not matter if Britton does not get back soon and in good shape.

Miguel? Tejada is 4 for 10. A few more two hit games and he'll bump Johnson to the DFA wilderness

    Are you a Troll?

(Trolling is prohibitted on this forum, you should be forewarned.)

Eric Byrnes does not qualify as a "recent track record" - - - that was 7 years ago.

Degrees. Johnson or Tejada. Eveland or Hunter. Bell or Reynolds. Too many expect Wright or Youklis. Teams win incrementally not exponentially.

and to think we are first in homers and 4th in doubles and some think we absolutely have to have an expensive hitter (expensive as in money and prospects)

You are far too sensible for this forum. Congrats on the Slidemaster award. He's passionate yet fatalistic beyond comprehension

The Sun's message board version of Yin and Yang. But the difference IMO is Slidemaster is legitimate in his commitment. Reading TM too much leads to diabetes.

The thread doesn't say that they have to be expensive...anybody productive will do. I was asking who you guys thought may be out there ???

    Nick Johnson
    Endy Chavez
Bill Hall will not cut it in the long run...

Gotta look at the teams you know are sellers: C Headley in SD, J Willingham in Min, nobody in Colo that you'd want(CarGo and Tulo are untouchable), KC has no quality vets available, nobody in Pitt comes to mind, same with Sea and Oak.
