Does that mean a snag has been hit? Jones value is in the number of HR's he hits, which looks to be going up rapidly. He plays above average CF. Or at least acceptable. I tend to think Jones would be a $100m plus type player if he hits Free Agency. So any deal under $100m has to be seen as good for the O's.

Yesterday Casey Stern was talking about how the AL East was the toughest division in baseball because the Yankees, Jays, Rays, and Sox are all still in it. Didn't even mention that the O's are in first place.

Basically, listening to sports radio has shown me that we're either 1. A bigger joke than I thought, or 2. Nobody knows anything about the team at all.

Sports media in general. If they had their way, the same teams would be in the playoffs year after year. Especially big market teams. Makes their lame job much easier.
