No.....dollar for dollar....straight up....however you want to slice it.

Let's be honest here.....we are talking about a guy who might be the 4th best CF in his own division.

Good to see that 18-97-44-29-TA continues to maintain his Level V Moron status.

    AL East CF rankings(IMO)
    1. Ellsbury
    2. Jones
    3. Granderson
    4. Upton
    5. Rasmus

Jones gets the edge on the Grandy man based on age(27-31)

Especially true I think when it's a players first big contract. His great grandchildren shouldn't have to worry about finacices.

AL CF rankings(based on results, not age) IMO
    1. J Hamilton
    2. J Ellsbury
    3. A Jones
    4. C Granderson
    5. M Trout
    6. A Jackson
    7 B J Upton
    8 D Span
    9. F Gutierrez
    10. C Crisp
    11. G Sizemore
    12. A Rios
    13. C Rasmus
    14. J Dyson

Trout and Jackson both have the talent to pass Jones soon.

Fox Sports and Sports Illustrated are reporting on this. But not a peep over at ESPN.

Nowhere in the announcement was Tebow,LeBron or Yankees mentioned so why would ESPN care?

Jones talks: Says agent leaves town tomorrow so he hopes deal is done by then. Says won't cause him to lose focus

Does that mean a snag has been hit? Jones value is in the number of HR's he hits, which looks to be going up rapidly. He plays above average CF. Or at least acceptable. I tend to think Jones would be a $100m plus type player if he hits Free Agency. So any deal under $100m has to be seen as good for the O's.

Are you jealous or something? Which AL East team are a fan of? The O's have to sign Jones because they dont sign expensive Free agents like Boston or NY does. Its also a discount because everyone thinks Jones could get more as a Free Agent.

He's not a fan of anything other than trashing Baltimore sports. He doesn't even have a baseball team he roots for.

I think Trout is going to be 1 or 2 on this list by next season. The dude is extremely talented

Scout tells Heyman today "If Trout isn't already the best player in the AL he will be by season's end"

Basically, listening to sports radio has shown me that we're either 1. A bigger joke than I thought, or 2. Nobody knows anything about the team at all.
Sports media in general. If they had their way, the same teams would be in the playoffs year after year. Especially big market teams. Makes their lame job much easier.

He got owned constantly during the football season, so he figures the Orioles are an easier target for his loser game. Glad to see they've made him look stupid thus far.

Eh ? He puts up a 4.00 ERA in 128 starts and that's not cutting it ?
