Can't pay his bills, or doesn't want to pay his bills ?
he had a trucking business when he was in Baltimore. I guess it didnt pan out for him. He looks like he is eating well though. JK. He is one my favorite Ravens. I don't see why it's our business though and they need to publicize it...
If the numbers reported are accurate, it sounds like he's not paying his bills, not that he can't afford it
like others said, he had a pretty big trucking company while he was here .......
there were quite a few stories about that big truck he used to drive into truck stops to recruit drivers.........
he seemed to be pretty grounded and one of the few that had a post career plan .......
It's the league's fault.. He got hit in the head one too many times and doesn't know how to manage his money.
But seriously.. the trucking company was a disaster.. Read on..

Because he is a public figure. People will read about it because of who he is. I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for his though. Over 14 million dollars in assets, makes 35,000 a month, and he has to file bankruptcy? Seems like he really needs to get a financial advisor.
Lewis has $14,455,854 in assets but he also has $10,566,764.18 in debts. Lewis is currently self employed and makes about $35,000 a month.
I just hope someday I can be broke enough to have a net 4 million in assets...
I have no problem with the media publicized a multi-millionaire who wants to not pay his bills.
He has also joined the NFLA concussion lawsuit to try and milk some money from that.
