It's a new era in this league......it's all about coverage and fan notority and prestige in this game. Those guys have it....yours doesn't.
You have officially outdid yourself. You truly are a know-nothing cretin

Is it? So they no longer play football on the field?

Suh has been criticized in the media and by other players for his aggressive style of play and has been fined a total of $42,500 by the league for three violations in the first year-and-a-half of his career. In a poll of fellow players conducted by the Sporting News, Suh was named "the dirtiest player" in the NFL.[42] As of December 2011, he had been flagged for nine personal fouls in his first two years, the most of any player in the league in that time frame
Great guy. Teams love players that routinely get 15-yard penalties. Plus he added in a 2 game suspension. I wonder why the media talks about this guy...

    Whatev.

BTW I meant to address this....I'm not 'welching' from anything. You never proposed a bet to me so there was nothing to 'welch' from. Name the stakes and I'm there.....I don't backdown from anyone.

You backed down from me. Of course, you were probably told to by your superiors. Look how many hits it has generated. You probably earned the sun $4.93 with that one. Good job man!

Bull. You never outlined one either. Do so and I will (almost certainly) follow thru.

If you are still .500 by 6/1 I will eat my hat.

(Bonus prediction.....WAS will sweep. BOS might too.)
The Orioles are guaranteed to be no less than seven games over .500 on June 1.

You have some eating to do.

(and, no surprise, your bonus predictions were wrong, too.)

From my post 19 of the "Should the Colts start Luck" thread:

Uh.....you do know that rookie deals are slotted right? Griff couldn't demand a 'ransom' even if he wanted to. Besides...he is in love w/DC and they are in love w/him......he will be a 1st-day signee or close to it. Both sides want to hit the ground running and he will want to make a good impression on his new team/fans.

And BTW.....I'd bet you anytime anywhere on my prediction.....I'm that sure of it. Bring it.

How about this? It is the type of bet that even that Steel Legends clod lived up to. If the Colts win 10 or more games this coming season I will write a three paragraph, non snarky, sarcasm free post entitled "The Colts are Great", extolling the virtues of the Colts, both the team and the organization. If they win 9 or fewer, you post the same type of post extolling the virtues of the Ravens, both the team and the organization. Titled "The Ravens are Great" of course.

    What do you say?

Oh come one now.....'eat ones hat' is the oldest 'bet' in the book. Figure of speech.....work w/me here. OK.....I'm wrong on that one. I take it like a man and move on.

Change it to +/- 8 games and it is a deal. And 2 paragraphs max.....I'm not writing an essay here.

Well, you were adamant about it being 10 games in the past. As to the length, you don't think you are going to lose so it would be me writing the 3 paragraphs, right?

I believe it whole heartedly.....still neither 1 of us should have to do all that.

I must emend my prediction to 8+ Ws tho. Lot of turnover involved and w/a new coach/GM/QB/injury ?s....10 might be asking a lot (altho I believe it is certainly possible.)

Yet you're not willing to agree to writing three paragraphs. Rael is.

Is it that you can't write three paragraphs, or that you are afraid that you'll have to? Either way, it does shed a good light upon you.

But you practically assured 10+ wins and there haven't been any changes since you last predicted it. What happened to your confidence?

    Writing three paragraphs is easy.

There is no law on how long a paragraph has to be. There just needs to be a general change of tone, context, or subject.

    You are truly an idiot.
