Considering he himself is in the shadow of Messrs Suh and Wilfork and Raji and maybe even Hampton at his advanced age.....I don't find this statement very credible.
Haloti Ngata is considered the Best Defensive Lineman in the NFL by his peers. He finished ranked #9 in the NFL Top 100.

    Suh...38
    Wilfork...81
    Raji...NR
    Hampton...NR

(Ravens have FIVE of the top 22...Ngata 9, Suggs 11, Reed 16, Lewis 20, Rice 22, Leach 45, Flacco 74. The Colts had one....in the top 89)

Meh.....of course peers would look out for one of their own and grossly overrate him in the process.

I'd be curious to see where the folks @ Bristol and guys like Dukes and Sapp et alia would deign to rank these players. I suspect we'd get closer to the truth there.

Suh, Wilfork, Raji & Hampton also fall into the category of "one of their own". Why do you suppose they would "look out" for Ngata more than those others?

Just admit it. You're wrong and an idiot.

Look fans, our village idiot has come out of its basement!

The idiot seems to think that players do not know how to determine whether or not their opponents are any good. I suspect that the "talking heads" would vote differently if it were a secret vote as opposed to their having to defend their ill-thought pronouncements on camera.

Ah yes.....I would think that if we did do that...we wouldn't be hearing much more about the Aging Average LB as they wouldn't be influenced any more by heresy and undue hype.
