    Default Maryland versus Virginia

" We have a balanced approach in Maryland." If he means sticking it to the middle class, I guess that's balanced.

Both states rely on the Federal government for economic growth. Virginia just has lower taxes.

Living in MD is like living in Texas, all the good jobs are across the border.

The state has lured Acentia, an information technology contractor based in Silver Spring, to Fairview Park in Falls Church, also home to CSC, General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman, which only recently relocated from Los Angeles

O'Malley and the Maryland General Assembly have NOT done their very best to ruin Maryland, but give them time. They are well down the road to finishing off the state.

There's no comparison. Virginia has a working 2-party system. We have a crime-ridden state run by liberal Democrats, beholden to the unions and sustained by a large minority population.
The trend is not good for productive citizens, investment, or retirement.
