Zimmerman Sues NBCNEWS...
Made me into a Racist to Fix Low Ratings
No, George, they didn't do it to increase their ratings. They did it to set about getting you lynched in public opinion, by enraging blacks and guilt tripping whites. They did it to promote their agenda of showing whites as 'evil racists' and an Officially Designated Victim Group, as, 'Victims'.“NBC saw the death of Trayvon Martin not as a tragedy but as an opportunity to increase ratings, and so to set about the myth that George Zimmerman was a racist and predatory villain,”
Their "editing error" was done to promote that narrative, and nothing else. And they would do it even if it cost them ratings, because like 'The New York Times' that is sinking under the weight of their Liberal bias, they are not there to report the news, but to use the news as a vehicle to spread their Leftist propaganda, regardless of the cost.

“There is no such thing, at this date of the world’s history in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print.
The business of the journalist is to destroy the truth: to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press?
We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks; they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities, and our lives are the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.” -John Swinton, highly respected former Chief of Staff for the New York Times, at the New York Press Club, 1953, when asked to give a simple toast before the New York Press Club, stunned a roomful of admiring peers into total silence with the preceding remarks (as reported in the January, 1993 issue of The National Educator, and also quoted in the book “Pure Sociology” by Professor Lester T. Ward)

Before Zimmerman was aware there was a 911 call where you could hear the screams in the background, the Police asked Zimmerman to recreate how he was screaming. They recorded Zimmerman. The Orlando Sentinel had the recording on their web site. Zimmerman's screams are not "girlish" and not even close to the screams heard on the 911 tape.
In addition, the screams on the 911 tape are long, plaintive screams of help that go all the way up to a split second before a gunshot is heard. It was during this time that Zimmerman claimed Martin was holding his hand over his mouth and he was struggling with Martin for control of the gun.
I've heard the recreation.
Let me put it this way: it's hard to "recreate" adrenalized screams when you are not in a life or death situation. I'd also point out to you that the recording device is different for the 911 tape, and that screams outside on a damp night will tend to sound differently than screams in a dry police station.
Apparently you weren't paying attention when I noted the FBI said it was impossible to determine who was screaming, and apparently you are willing to overlook the initial witness reports (had the guy on the bottom screaming) and the fact that while Tray's dad has changed his testimony, George and his father's testimony as to the screams has been consistent. On top of that , I said George's VOICE on ALL the interviews is nearly girlish whereas Trayvon's on the 711 tape (you can hear him talk on his phone) is a very deep masculine voice. Notice I never said George's screams were girlish, but I'd bet my bottom dollar they'd be more "girlish" than Trayvons.
As for the "hand over mouth" and "gun" bit, I trust you note those weren't happening at the same time and that George never claimed Tray had his hand over his mouth the entire time. It would really be something for Tray to have his hand over George's mouth, hold him down and reach for the gun (which I assume he became aware of when he FELT it strapped against George's leg) at the same time.
He won't get a dime. He's a public figure and will have to prove Actual Malice. That does not include a mere neglect in following professional standards of fact checking. What will make this even more difficult is that the defamation is not from their words but Zimmermans own words. He's not suing them for what they said. Zimmerman is suing them for what he said. Also there has been a retraction. So I don't see any defamation or libel in this. If a public official could sue for defamation because of a quote or sound btye being taken out of context. Fox News would not exist. There would be a hole in the ground filled with red ink where Fox News used to be.
While he may have a case he would need to wait for actual damages to win. He will also have to overcome the Flynt standard and the fact he actually said what they played. Fox, Hannity, Limbaugh, Flynt, Briebart and others have selectively edited material before too and they seem to not get sued and lose!
Not hard to do - continually show pictures of GZ in a orange prison jumpsuit, unshaven and frowning, against a photo of a smiling happy-faced 11 year old Trayvon.
Only a few media sources used the photo of a smiling GZ in a business suit vs the scowling metal grill, drooping baggy pants, and flipping off the camera picture of Trayvon that accompanied his Twitter account of NO_LIMIT_N I G G A.
I also wonder why some outlets also digitally "lightened" the photo of Trayvon wearing the hoodie.
Probably to get the racist sheep to make comments like "beyond silliness."
I also question why particular conduits like fox news also say ignorant things. Almost certainly to get the racist Asian sheep to make remarks like “digitally lightened" the photo of Trayvon wearing the hoodie.” Beyond silliness.

Really? I wonder if the original picture wasn't somewhere between the two we've seen, with one being lightened, while the other was darkened. They both look unrealistic.
And why did much younger pictures of Trayvon get so much traction? Even after pictures that were more representative of the way he looked just before he was killed became available, we still saw pictures of a much younger Trayvon. What was the purpose of that?
