    Archbishop Spalding has confirmed this via twitter. For anyone interested in going to the funeral, they will be announcing arrangements in the next couple days.

    I'm stating the obvious, but I'm sad to hear this.

    He was a great coach, but by far a better person. He will be missed by everyone in the Maryland football community.

    His legacy with the Archbishop Spalding football program will be visible for many years to come.

    Rest in Peace Coach.
