Default Phillies: 6-game Losing Streak, Starting Pitcher w/ERA over 5

No problem - welcome to Camden Yards!

Arrieta needs to be demoted. And when will the Orioles learn to play Defense?

The light-hitting offense makes Joe Blanton look like a Cy Young candidate.

Joe Blanton gave up 5 earned runs tonight. I'm not sure how that makes him look like a Cy Young candidate.

The Orioles never seem to be able to defeat mediocre pitchers.

Arrieta giving up 9 runs in 2 innings certainly didn't help their cause.

We win that game with even an average pitching outing.

That's the problem, the Orioles will struggle to win 1 of 3 against them.

O's will get swept. This was the game we needed. Hunter gets rocked tomorrow, Hammel pitches well but loses a low scoring game to Lee Sunday. Red Hot Pittsburgh comes in Mon. Yikes

Buck doesn't know when to pull a SP.

If a guy gives up 7 runs, you pull him. Especially when you have the AL's best bullpen (so far). Sorry he never learned that. We almost had a chance to come back...but after that 2 run HR...nope.

When Matusz gives up 2 runs in the first two innings...I knew he would give up 6 by the end of 3...Buck apparently didn't. When it happened, I became more convinced Buck doesn't have the "eye" to spot a pitcher's demise. He needs to rely on his coaches who probably do.

Lee had pitched really well, his offense has laid an egg each time he pitches. So I wouldn't necessarily say he's due.
