Default 105.7 thinks Moyer starts Saturday

Whatever show is on around 1pm (they all blend together for me) was predicting that Moyer is going to go on Saturday.

Moyer isn't on the 40 man so someone would have to be DFA'd or moved to the 60 day.

If this happened who do you think would be out? Perhaps move Lindstrom to the 60 day retro-actively?

I think its more likely Eveland pitches.

    Interesting.

Time to dig the old Moyer jerseys out of the closet!

They are morons. Moyer is now starting FRI IN NORFOLK. With Matusz's injury things could change but that's what the O's announced around 1

I agree that it's unlikely, but they could simply push him back a day.

As for Matusz he needs to pitch. There's no excuse to not pitch with a nose thing.

They are waiting to see if swelling around Matusz's eyes. That's what would keep him out

Moyer has only made 1 start. They want to see him 2 or 3 times. Gotta believe Tillman,Johnson or Eveland gets the call.

Why do they need to see Moyer 2 or 3 times? He's only been around for 20 some years.

I think they need to see if he can give innings.

Honestly 5 innings in AAA isn't too impressive.

They might need a pitcher for tomorrows game, and I would much prefer to see Moyer up here than the suggestion some are making that Buck might throw Arrieta back out there!

If Tillman comes up he cant go back down. Britton is throwing softballs in triple a. Moyer is 49. So looks like Arrieta will be thrown back out there.

Thank you, I'll be here all week. Be sure to tip your waitress.

I'm actually a big Moyer fan. Hope he can make it back and stick around.
