The pirates are 2 games above 500 and they have already taken the season series with the nats, they are tougher than you think. Not to mention the nats are going to whoop some bankee tail this weekend.

You shouldn't even have a hat to wear, because you were supposed to have eaten, DB.

come on fella........Facts are, 95 out of every 100 of your posts are negative towards the Ravens and Orioles.

I get the Orioles have been perennial losers for 15 seasons. So why not hope this season is a change for the better ?You know root for the underdog ? Instead you constantly belittle them.

Same with the Ravens.....who have been a good, solid football team who contends every year.

So why would any Baltimore sports fan want to engage in a real sports conversation with you ?

They are not an 'underdog'......they are more like a lost dog. No one outside Baltimore knows about or cares about them no matter how lucky a start they've gotten off to.....just watch SC/BBTN et al for proof.

Tribe? D-Rays? Bucs? Nats (not so much now....but still given that division)? Definite underdogs.....and quite likable ones @ that.

And yet.....all we hear year and year out is PIT and NE and IND (before last yr) and SD as perennial AFC contenders. Hmmm.....

It is amazing to me that Rob the administrator participates here and yet 18-87-44-29 has not been banned.

All day long this guy trashes Baltimore and it's sports teams with no other intent other than to rile us up (aka the definition of trolling), yet he still has an account.

Just the other night Charlie Sheen tweeted a welcome back to BRob. Once again you are wrong, troll.

Who cares about Charlie Sheen? I didn't hear any welcome from the Krukster....or Sut....or Oral or Timmy K or Barry or anyone up there for that matter.

    Who cares what you heard?

You said no one outside of Baltimore talks about the Orioles. I proved you dead fu(king wrong. Now shut up.

Ah yes....so you had to dig up a comment from a down on his luck borderline-washed up substance/woman abuser.....but nothing from the professionals who actually get paid to talk (or rather not talk) about guys like the $40M man.

    Shutting up now.

All teams are irrelevant. This stuff is fun - outside of the economic ramifications created by investment over the last 25 years, these games are all meaningless.

Like I said to you earlier. It's all wishful thinking from you because you're a Yankees fan. We definately don't need to be reminded of anything from a Yankees fan. Some of us believe that this is a different team from '05 and whether this team wins or loses or collapses or not it has nothing todo with '05. You can keep believing what you want but I have a feeling that you are starting to feel a little uneasy about that bet you made.

"Playing teams like the Pirates." You just keep coming up with excuse after excuse. If we had lost you would have been on this board earlier. Now you come back and ignore the fact that they were in first and one the hottest teams before we played them. Keep on fishing. One day you might catch something.

Translation for all of this crap: games are won on Sportscenter, not on the field.

The Cowboys get constant media attention and have been mediocre for sooooo long. The media isn't the best gauge...

It was talked about all day on MLB radio, on every show, including by guys like Mike Stanton, Todd Hollandsworth, Jim Bowden, and the rest of the hosts on those shows. Those guys get paid to do nothing but talk baseball all day, every day.
