Where is Meth when you need him....I think he played at the time we speak of....until he resolves this, the Poets were in the Msa-a along with the other metro citywide schools in Bcc and Poly...all 3 schools entered into the A conf in 88 and left together in 93.

Actually, City was in the A-Conferernce up until they shut down the Castle for renovations in 1976. They moved into the old Poly bldg on North Ave and continued A-Conference play until they moved into the basement of Eastern at that point they went co-ed and with only freshmen and sophmores they played played an independant schedule for several years before returning to the MSA-B conference. After winning several B-confernce championships they returned to A until Walter Amprey dropped the axe and entered the City schools into the MPSSAA

Also, Poly never left the A conference as far as I know. They definitely didn't enter into the A conf. in 88 with City and Dunbar, as AO suggested.
