Hope they don't overpay to get them, but I think they might have to. Never was a huge Garza fan

It's pretty funny to go to a Cubs forum and look at all the talk of Machado or Bundy for Ryan Dempster. Reminds me of the Oriole hangout

Disregard the W-L; Garza has some real solid numbers this season with IP/H, BB/SO, and WHIP.

I'd love to see him in an O's uniform, if for nothing else to let the rest of the staff know get it done or else.

If overpaying for Soriano means they can get Garza for less PULL THE TRIGGER! Soriano is good for .270 and at least 25 HRs IMHO. Worth it to get Garza into the O's rotation. BIG UPGRADE!

As long as they don't give up a top level prospect for them, it's a good deal. Garza is a pretty good number 2 with experience in the AL East. He'd be a massive upgrade over Hunter, Matusz, or Arrieta.

.270 might be stretching it, but 25 bombs sounds reasonable.

Word is Epstein is targeting Delmonico and Lino. Delmonico would have to be a PTBNL since he can't get traded until Aug 15

Not a bad pitcher by any stretch, he's just inconsistent (although not as much for the Cubs). I don't think his above average home run rate profiles well for Camden Yards. Just feel he's a tad overrated. He'd be a nice fit for the right price, but if we want him we'll have to overpay.

If its just for Garza sure. Garza and Soriano I have to think reduces any Cubs leverage in a trade, or I hope it would.

if the Orioles get Garza, I'll have to drop him from my fantasy team.

Soriano has only hit 25 homers once in the last 4 years.

Are the Cubs going to pay for most of the 2+ years left on Soriano's deal? Because that dude is going to be making 18 mil in 2014 when he is 38. I would hate to see the O's having to pay that.
