I go to Fell's Point, looking at all this fun white folks (and confused negroes) having, laughing, shopping, eating and etc.. It's heart-breaking because we don't have those venues where you don't see "civilized" Black folks enjoying themselves if it's not a "bullroast" or some "crab feast." Smh..

You know one thing I just thought of is that Atlanta is a major regional center/city and Baltimore isn't. Being between Philadelphia and DC and being so close with integrated and affluent suburbs doesn't help. Even PG with its issues is a brain/wealth drain on Baltimore.

"...African Americans that were successful at controlling their own labor and generating wealth for themselves were attacked either outright by White mobs - including the KKK and Police – or strategically by coalitions between White government (IRS), Businesses (including banks), and organized crime gangs from various White ethnic groups (Italians, Jews, English, etc). For example, during the 1920’s numerous Black towns and businesses across this nation were destroyed by White force and connivance. In most instances African Americans were not able to recover.."

Interesting.... White folks "still" seem to be a problem.

I honestly don't see treating others politely as archaic. Tons of the big SUVs in the parking lots full of black families had Georgia license plates.
