Default O's need to DFA Tommy Hunter

He is pure GARBAGE. O's just get back in it after trailing 5-1 thanks to a 3-run homer by Davis. Then, in comes Hunter and he immediately gives up 4 runs making it 9-4. Pure and utter trash pitcher.

An inning and two-thirds and the bum has allowed 8 hits, 4 runs and a walk.

In his last 10 appearances, he's giving up at least 4 runs in 7 of them. TRASH.

    DFA him NOW!!

Can we package DFA him with Mark Reynolds? I'm getting so sick of watching Reynolds either strike out or hit tippy-tap grounders to the middle of the infield and barely running to first base. (while making $7 million). Reynolds is one of the worst signings ever.

Matusz and Arrieta can go with him.

Now that the Thome acquisition is official, the O's HAVE to DFA someone after the game today. My guess? Tolleson or Pearce.

Brilliant. Who do you propose Buck sends out in their places?

You are the only one who agrees with me on this. I think both of these guys need at least a year or two at Norfolk or Bowie. They have potential, and that is all right now. They were improperly brought up to the Majors because of our dearth of pitchers.

I don't think it would really hurt at this point to give Tillman and Berken 3 starts. They have options.

Uh, lots of guys can put up an ERA lower than 5, so basically anyone.

I think they need to know they can be replaced by scrap heap pitchers that can be obtained almost anywhere.
