Default Nice "Pitchers Only" Meeting, boys!

5th straight game of 7 runs or more. 5th straight sub-par starting performance. A ss getting handed to them by Cleveland yet again.

This is a contender we're supposed to buy into? THIS team is the one that's I'm supposed to be so excited about, and that I'm a hater or a troll for not believing in?

There's a reason I said I'd wait until August was over, and it's because of exactly what's happening right now. There was no way a team with this little talent was going to sustain the kind of success they showed early on.

No.....it sure isn't. Not a 'contender' to buy into....not the team to get excited about.....none of that.

I notice you take a lot of flack on here.....but I understand your sentiments. You see exactly what I see.....one of the very few here that do.

Unlike you though I don't hate the team. Just what they've become over the last 15 years. You exist here to tell us that everything about Baltimore sports is terrible regardless of reality.

Despite what people may think about me, I'm not a hater of Baltimore. I hate what the Orioles have come to represent and how they've been run for the last 15 years.

Numbers hates on literally everything, including the Ravens. Say what you want about the Ravens, but they try their damnedest to win every year, and they draft well, make shrewd decisions, and put themselves in position time and time again. That's all anyone can ask for, and I only wish the O's were run with the same dedication to excellence.

The Ravens are the only thing that keep me sane as a Baltimore sports fan...bless the Ravens...

I'm betting that Sheila Dixon stole its gift card. That's why it hates Baltimore.

Either that or, it is Jen Royle.

I don't care if they were winning with smoke and mirrors its still fun to watch. Ever year I look back and wonder how the hell the Rays won 90+ games. It's not over yet so hold off on the doom/gloom predictions....if the season ended today the Orioles are in Right now they are beat up and playing like s&*% but I think Danque will make some moves, they'll get healthy and go on a run. As bad as Hunter, Arrieta and Matusz have been somehow they are still 6 games over.

That really is amazing. I don't know how it's possible, but it apparently it is. I think the back end needs overhauling and it appears DD is doing just that. Whoever they bring in to fill the void could not possibly pitch any worse. FWIW I still have hope for Arrieta. Matusz and Hunter, not so much.
