"God" has no monopoly on morality.

Wonder how Jews & Christians came to believe that in the first place; with their God that eradicated His children ('cept 4 Noah & his kine) w/ the Flood, needed a cautionary Moses to stay Him from wiping out those children again @the foot of Mt. Sinai (& later a 2d warning from David); sent a surrogate in His stead after He did such a great job of keeping his charges in line: said surrogate bid men work no more (Jesus, the Ur-Welfare Agency) but wait on the Kingdom of Heaven.

I believe every word in the Bible but fail to see any sign (or wonder) of a morality, don't find Jesus or His ilk sympathetic characters, & definitely don't find that God & His brethren worthy of worship.

The Founders were mostly agnostic and save the morality BS.

Ask the slaves and the Native Americans about the morality of the Founders.

No generation os perfect. They were morally flawed back then just as we have moral flaws today...

Sorry but slavery in the North American Colonies was started by a Free Black, Anthony Johnson of Virginia. The Founders had nothing to do with the establishment of that "peculiar institution".

The ad has used excellent quotes to show the importance the founders placed upon morality and religion as the foundation of successful governance. The further we push God and ideas of morality out of government and out of our social discourse, the worse our problems will become.

Religion, specifically Christianity as put forth in the new testament, centers on loving God and one's neighbor. The mentions of charity and forgiveness in the NT, particularly the gospels which Christians believe is the word of God should provide guidance to all society, not just govt.
