Girls Showcase Basketball- July

The DMV had an outstanding showing at the Blue Chip national tournament held in York, Pa. Thank goodness the air conditioner was working because the heat was brutal. The DMV took 2nd place- PSPA Rams - 3rd Place- MD Grizzlies- 5th place - MD Lady Terps and 6th- Germantown Lady Panthers. The 5th place game featured the Lady Terps vs. Germantown Panthers two local DMV powerhouses. The Lady Terps have another outstanding team with great guard and swing play and jumped out ahead 42-13 in the first half. The Lady Panthers made a late run in the second half to close the lead but the Terps went on to victory and finished 5-1. Next stop for alot of teams with be either Tennessee(Battle of Boro), Kentucky or Florida(AAU Nationals). Good luck to the DMV teams the rest of the month
