McDonogh swimmer Cosgarea killed in auto accident.
God Bless this young man and his family, friends, and school mates. He was an amazing kid and athlete. My heart goes out to his family

I feel terrible for the family and the community. The the McDonogh community found out yesterday and everyone was shocked. He was an excellent athlete and a better young man, heading towards Olympic Trials just like his older brother, and an instrumental part of the McDonogh swimming team that won an A Conference title for the first time since 1939 last winter.

The Cosgarea family are among the finest people I have ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with the Cosgarea family, the McDonogh community, the Baltimore swimming community, and the Baltimore private school community as a whole.
