    Default Romney's Secrecy

Why hide his tax returns from the public. He did the samething when running for Governor of Mass. If he is running on being a businessman, show you're tax returns.

Elaborate tax avoidance schemes don't play well politically with the common man. Willard has made the calculation that it's less damaging to not disclose.

Romney is smart. As long as he keeps quiet the left will continue to implode. What better topic to occupy the news cycle through the olympics than a non-issue about Romney's finances. Especially when no one really cares anyway.

Let the left waste it's resources flogging a dead horse. When the dust settles, you beat Obama over the head with his own policies and he won't have enough money left to counter.

    I'd say that's brilliant!

Who knows? I'll bet he beat up queers and put dogs on the roof of his car too. I would keep demanding to know these things right up to the election. It's your sworn duty to expose these conspiracy's.

Please run with the "secrecy is bad" meme.

Even the dumbest voters know Obama is making Nixon look like a paragon of openness.

Willard has a cloud over his head that isn't going anywhere. The longer Willard holds out the more suspicion there will be even in his own party.

The only people that logic is playing on are the ones who Obama already has locked in for votes. The undecideds don't care about that crap. They only want to know who is going to finally put some jobs out there and get the economy moving again.

You are right, it's a non-issue and is designed to rile up the left. I think the only way it works is if Romney actually takes the bait and does post in income tax records.

Same thing with this Bain Capital stuff, I don't see where this is getting Obama any additional votes. If anything, I would be running clips from Romney's republican opponents during the primary.

I agree. But if I were Obama and I believe in my record, I would be focusing on that. If my 4 year acomplishments are worthy of another 4 years, there isn't anything my opponent can say or do that is better than that. If my record isn't all that good, then yeah I am going to attack my opponent and try to discredit him because that's all I have.

Whatever may or may not be revealed by releasing Romney's information would better serve his campaign by releasing it sooner rather than later. The reticence does raise questions that will only become more of an obstacle to more important issues for his campaign as we get closer to November.

Not true, the president does talk about his record. Just like pubs are trying to define his record, then he has the right to define Willard's.

That is very true. And both of the two major parties do it in every election.
