Default NBC's Brian Williams NOT on Romney's short list for V.P.

Brain Williams simply was *****slapped by Mitt Romney....

Romney refused to be bullied by Williams, who was indirectly responsible for the Editgate scandal which supported Barack Obama’s racially charged response to the Trayvon Martin incident, and who once stuck his finger in President George W. Bush’s face.

When Williams tried to hector Romney and paint him exactly the way the Democrats would want, asking him if he was looking to choose “an incredibly boring white guy” as VP, he was in for a surprise. For a guy who has a reputation as a boring robot, Romney showed a facile, sharp sense of humor, swiftly eviscerating Williams: “You told me you were not available.”

    Romney 1, NBC, 0.

"Nuh uhhhh..., you are!" is pretty much the standard response of the right.

The highlight of the interview for me was when Willard seemed completely unaware of the facts surrounding the shootings in Colorado. That, combined with his missteps overseas, pretty clearly indicates he's unfit for the office he seeks.

The dems and there supporters are looking for any bad news about Romney. I watched the interview and Romney was good.

The Oconomy has and continues to sputter. This will be the issue come November.

If Williams thought he was b****-slapped, he could just as easily have had that editted out. So, no, I don't think he was.

Romney's reply was funny. I liked it as much as I liked Cameron's Olympics comment. Both of them were sharp.

Ditto. Williams could have edited it. Williams has a great sense of humor.

He's pretty funny on 30 Rock.Side note, Alec Baldwin is hilarious also but how can someone so angry in real life be so funny on TV.Must be a better actor then I give him credit for.

Was kinda surprised at Mitt's response re his wife's horse competing in the Olympics. He apparently is clueless on the whole matter, it's the little woman's thing. If he were my husband, he would have more to fear than Brian Williams!!

I like Brian Williams. He's the only liberal newscaster I can watch without spontaneously committing repeated acts of vomitus in the livingroom which is why I can't watch MSNBC.
