Maybe it's not new and I've just never seen it, but you can look up trade history between any two franchises. I like it.

The Angels and Dodgers have not traded with each other since 1993.
I saw this a few days ago. Pretty neat. Amazing it's been 18 years since we've traded with the Angels
That whole site rules.
We have made some epic trades with Houston. Take note of how we avoided them after Glenn Davis.
I wonder if you've dealt w/OAK much over the last 30+ yrs. Or the CWS over the last decade. Or DET the last 20 yrs.![]()
Six transactions. Snookered them for Harold Baines.

What makes you wonder?
Giving up a young up and coming stud (and future MVP) in Donnie Baylor for a few months of a disinterested and disgrunted Reggie Jax who couldn't wait to hop the first flight out of Baltimore. Good enuf reason to wonder I'd say.
What about CWS and DET? Talk about snookered!![]()
What you fail to mention about the Reggie Jackson trade is that it also netted Ken Holtzman. Holtzman was then flipped to the Yankees as part of a package that brought in Rick Dempsey, Tippy Martinez, Scott McGregor and Rudy May. The first three were instrumental in the Orioles trip to the 1979 World Series as well as their 1983 World Series win. Rudy May won 18 games for the Orioles in 1977 and was then traded to the Montreal Expos as part of a package that brough back Gary Roenicke and Don Stanhouse, two more vital pieces of those championship teams.
So yeah, giving up Don Baylor for all of that worked out pretty well.
But, hey, thanks for playing.
How, exactly did the Tigers or White Sox snooker the Orioles?
(Oh, and for all his disinterest and disgruntledness, Reggie hit .277, higher than his lifetime average, hit 27 homeruns, drove in 91, stole 28 bases and lead the league in slugging percentage, all in 134 games. That's not a bad season.)

Snookered and snookered alike.....in '00 CHI gave you essentially a bag of balls for a young stud C in Chuck Johnson and.....wait for it.....Harold Baines!
And in '91 you got the immortal Jeffrey Robinson for the Fruit Loops Kid (The guy who Wieters would dream to emulate.). Ah yes.....now THAT was a coupe!![]()
I guess Fruit Loops Kid was deemed expendable due to the arrival of Glen Davis. Oh....wait....
An actual box of Fruit Loops might've had more of an impact....at least it would have fortified the Orioles players before their games.
Harold Baines after that trade:
'00 - 24 games, .213/1/9
'01 - 32 games, .131/0/6
Then he retired
Johnson played two months with the White Sox and then signed with the Marlins as a free agent. Meanwhile, the Orioles got a solid defensive catcher in Brooke Fordyce in return.
Meanwhile, Tettleton was expendanble due to the fact that the Orioles also had Chris Hoiles, who they had acquired a few years earlier from.....wait for it........the Detroit Tigers. In that one, they stuck the Tigers with an aging, washed up, Fred Lynn.
But, hey, thanks for playing.
I had two of those at various times, Total Baseball from 2000 and something else from around 1996. They were great, one had a section of hilarious quotes from the old time guys. I also just liked flipping through them and finding some random guy from 1879 or whatever. But I can't imagine buying another one now.
