Same here. Not much of a consolation prize though

Heck, if the team I root for is going to lose, I may as well win.

I'm still here, just can't bring myself to leave. What if they somehow rally and I miss it?

Plus I appear to be sitting in the 'nice rack' section.

You have a ticket stub. You can still claim to have seen it.

I once left a game at Skydome because the O's were getting blasted by the Jays. then they came back in the 9th to win it.

I remember it well, wasn't it like a 7 or 9 run rally?

Is it a velocity issue? Because whatever it is...it's atrocious. Britton looks like a young Orioles pitcher (shiver in physical revulsion)

Silver lining: In twelve plate appearance between them, Davis, Betemit & Reynolds have not struck out today.

that's the one. it was a crazy comeback and we were driving down the Queen Elizabeth Parkway while it was going on. I think they scored 7 runs to win 9 to something.

oops. I spoke too soon. I posted this in the middle of the eighth, and Davis struck out in the ninth.

I couldn't really tell today but based on batter reactions it looked he had little command which is what I noticed in his other outings. When he first came up he had great command and was down in the zone inducing ground balls. Now everything is up and he's getting shelled.

    McGehee: 0-2, 2BB, 2R
    Martin: 1-3, 1BB, 1R
    Nix: 3-4, 2R

That just can't happen. Those guys have no business being on base that much.

But a series win against our division rivals in Yankee Stadium is pretty darn good!

The good news it that we've hit the ball well the last two series. It's nice to see double digits in the hit column each but of course it would have been nice to knock some of them in. If we continue to hit like this the rest of the season I think we'll be ok.

Now I don't know what's going on with Britton. That's two bad ones in a row. Maybe he's got the flu too. I sure hope so because if he keeps this up I think Hunter will be a better option.
