Default Off-Topic Sort of: Dark Knight

Caught the Dark Knight movie finally and noticed how the movie acknowledged the Steerler and Ravens ivalry. (IMO)

During the football scene it was filmed at Heinz Field with Hines Ward as the kick returner. On the other side of the ball the kicker's name on the back of his jersey was Ravenstahl.

Ravenstahl is actually the mayor Pittsburgh. No lie.

The only ppl that seem to think the Ravens and Steelers are rivals are Raven fans and those in and around Baltimore.

Try as you might...can't force something that isn't there.

Either way, I have tons more respect for the worst Steeler fan than any Colts fan based on Colts fan activities on this board. And you are pretty much their sole representative.

Steel2 has been a class act and a great poster here for many years and was the first winner of our annual Pickem' Pool. He has more class in his little finger than any Colts fan has in their lower intestine --- including the colon.

Then why do you think you even have a clue?

Since I know you love "Bristol," Scott Van Pelt and Ryen Russillo both called Ravens/Steelers not just one of the best rivalries in the NFL, but one of the best in sports.

Colin Cowherd, Mike and Mike, and Doug Gottlieb have also all mentioned it as one of the can't-miss matchups each season. Peter King of SI also seems to agree, as well as virtually every Steelers fan I know (and I know a lot - most of my family is from Pennsylvania). Oh, and every guy on the NFL network, which you'd know if you actually watched the games. But you don't, do you?

    So, in conclusion, you're a f***ing moron.

Yeah, two teams in the same division that are usually at the top of said division fighting for best record aren't rivals.

You're not even good at trolling anymore.

Nope.....not when one team can't beat the other when the stakes are at their highest. Tony Kornhieser said as much a couple yrs or so ago IIRC. Who cares about reg season wins?

Aren't you the one that uses the argument that Matt Ryan once lead his team to the best regular season record in his conference to justify your claim that he is better than Joe Flacco? How can you use that if no one cares about regular season wins?

Slide is right.....you really do suck at trolling. You are such easy game, it's not even fun anymore.

    .
Big diff here.....not much was expected from ATL....they were still seen as being a yr or so away. That they won the best record in the NFC was a pleasant surprise....altho many were predicting PHI and then GB would come out of that conf.

However.....it seems the Ravens are ALWAYS expected to be right on the threshhold of the SB Well....at least around Baltimore it seems. To many of their fans its SB or bust.....lot of pressure there. Err go.....Regular season doesn't carry that same weight that it does for a then-upstart team like ATL.

Now that ATL is a bit more established tho....it's fair to put the pressure on them as well. Matty Ice has proven he is elite....now he needs to go beyond regular season performance and do it when it counts.....and it says here he will in a big way.

Hey, let up on Jen, don't you know how hard it is for her to spin and backpedal at the same time?

So rivalries only count during the playoffs now?

Yeah regular season wins don't matter in the AFCN:

    2010
    Pittsburgh 12-4 (homefield)
    Baltimore 12-4 (wildcard)

    2011
    Baltimore 12-4 (homefield)
    Pittsburgh 12-4 (wildcard)

Just because the Colts were only capable of 2, doesn't mean regular season wins don't matter.

Don't forget about Fox Sports, the NFL Network, and your beloved colts Head Coach (and the safety that should have stuck with boxing because he isn't good enough to start on any NFL team except the Colts)
