Default Does Michael Phelps really need 20 medals?

Other swimmers worked hard and are just as smart. Shouldn't Michael share his medals with swimmers who haven't won anything? He didn't do this on his own? Come on Michael... share the wealth!

Nice try. Keep working at it and you just might make it to "moderately amusing" someday.

Anything that gets a predictable knee jerk liberal like you upset is amusing. I dont know how you face everyday as guilt ridden as you are.

    Upset? Hardly.

    Guilt ridden? Not even close.

Tired of half-wits who rehash the same right-wing catch phrases day after day after day? Damn right.

Sports is a meritocracy. Outside of sports, the smartest or most talented individuals don't always win...

Great point. Somebody built the pool Phelps practiced in. Somebody flew him to London. What about the road he used to get to the pool? Phelps didn't win those medals, someone else did.

I love it when the truly mediocre strive to rise above their limitations.

Affirmative Action has nothing to do with it. America just doesn't always reward the best or brightest outside of sports.

You would be more convincing if you complained about real Obama, not fantasy Obama...

Except the oh so pure Olympics. You must have missed the 72 bb game between the US and Soviet Union where the US got hosed or the boxing match the other day where a guy from Azerbijhan got knocked down six times in one round and the ref still awarded him the round.
