    The revolutionary development of modern weapons within a worlddivided by serious ideological differences has produced a crisis inhuman history. In order to overcome the danger of nuclear war nowconfronting mankind, the United States has introduced at theSixteenth General Assembly of the United Nations a Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World.

    This new program provides for the progressive reduction of thewar-making capabilities of nations and the simultaneousstrengthening of international institutions to settle disputes andmaintain the peace. It sets forth a series of comprehensivemeasures which can and should be taken in order to bring about aworld in which there will be freedom from war and security for all states."

    I just wanted to show that the intent to toss the Second Amendment out the window didn't start with Hussein.
