    Davis at 1B.
    Sign Melky Cabrera for LF.
    Sign David Ortiz for DH.
I like most of these choices, except Ortiz. he's a crybaby and will want the "respect" that comes with a ridiculously high salary. he'll dedicate his efforts to getting back at Bos. by signing with NY

For Machado it does. Definitely not for the Orioles. Hardy is vastly superior at SS to most players in the league. This thread is impossible to predict all the potential FA's available. I think the biggest priority is a SP and 1B. I would try and swing a trade for Minnesota's Parmalee who i think is in AAA right now.

I don't see the O's bringing in anyone to play LF. they'll probably let Reimold prove he can stay healthy. plus they have LJ Hoes. they showed Hoes recent stats over the weekend. his numbers were better at Norfolk than Machados numbers at Bowie over the same stretch. I'm not sure if he's a potential lead off hitter, but his stats show he's almost exclusively a singles hitter. he has a.380 OBP for 2012.

Schoop should play 2nd base. Brob is donezo.
