Default Obama 'cancelled missions to kill UBL 3 TIMES, getting cold feet - until Hillary...

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-new-book.html

"The explosive allegation is contained in an expose by journalist Rich Miniter, who argues that the White House’s carefully-crafted narrative of Obama as a decisive leader who dispatched the al-Qaeda leader despite the doubts of advisers is a myth.
Leading from Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him will be published on Tuesday."

The manilla folder theory has been out there since day one. It is a much more plausible explanation than 0 claiming to be involved from day 1 and making all decisions.

The best thing about when liberals attack the messenger is that it feels like dainty little flower petals. Especially when the liberals who are male do it.

Sorry, I can't buy this one. The mission was a culmination of a decade of intelligence, but when the opportunity presented itself it was ultimately the president's decision on a go or no-go. Had the mission been a failure, american servicemen killed, and Bin-Laden gotten away, the president would have gotten all the blame for taking too much of a risk. Thankfully it didn't work that way. The mission was a success and justice for 911 was served. Obama deserves that one in the accomplishment column. Republicans should stick with hammering him on the economy. They won't get many takers on this line of thought.

I get it, you are trying desperately to hold on to your sinking party. We all get it.

One would think the Republicans would be all about it. Obama authorizes a few helicopters worth of troops, into a foreign country without their permission, to kill a top terrorist. Maybe if the Seals would have invaded Iran on their way out...

Who knows if he’s hiding in some cave or not. We haven’t heard from him in a long time. The idea of focusing on one person really indicates to me people don’t understand the scope of the mission. Terror is bigger than one person. He’s just a person who’s been marginalized. … I don’t know where he is. I really just don’t spend that much time on him, to be honest with you.

    G.W. Bush 2006
