I know thousands of Pittsburgh folks that have moved to Baltimore (to get a job). I know of zero that have moved from Baltimore to Pittsburgh. That's why there are so many Stiller fans in Maryland. Too bad yins can't find work at home and have to move here.

Hugs are for sissies. He is a manly man. Too manly for you to understand.

If you want to be a Steeler fan and post here then you need to man up and take it. Otherwise you are a looney tune and I believe now you may be joining that category based on your recent comments. I sure hope I never sit beside you at M&T.

I would have zero problem with any Steeler fan if they only "knew" their place and stayed there. But they don't and I do.

Pittsburgh is a growing city. Baltimore is losing population.

Yeah, but the population is smarter and tougher in Baltimore and Maryland. You ought to know that as much as you post here.

The only time I've been to M&T is for the Army-Navy game and MD-Notre Dame, so I'm guessing you won't have to worry about that. If I do, I'll bring a box of tissues for you, just in case you have a crying fit.

Okay. I was just wondering. And I agree...there always tends to be this "mindset" here that anything Ravens is good, anything not Ravens is bad. It's simplistic, and maybe it's common on all boards. But it's a definite factor here, that's for sure.

Same on the Steeler's boards. It gets really old and discourages any real football discussion.

Exactly. That's why our exchanges -- Colts fan/Steelers fan -- here on a Ravens board are always so refreshing.

    Peace out.

Oh...and since this IS the RGIII/Luck thread...where are all those brilliant Ravens fans prognosticators who have been predicting the downfall of the Colts in the post-Manning era? There were literally hundreds of those types of posts over the years. Where y'all at now, homies? (It's almost like that "Ken" guy who was slobbering all over Vick for a few weeks a while back. He sure got quiet about that chit, didn't he?)

I have two words that shoot your theory in the foot. They both start with the same three letters. One ends in "eron"

The interesting thing is how far can the Colts go this year? They are quite a story with Luck and Pagano not to mention all of the trogs in the Steeler's fan base that hated Arians who helped coach them to two Super Bowls.

The OC is always hated by every fan base and yet that same fan base has watched 1/1000 th of the film the coach has and has 1/1000 th of the football acumen.

Geeze, lighten up a little. All I was saying was certainly most Ravens fans don't view the OC as "good" just because he is ours. Don't be so touchy...

This is from a different thread, but I wanted to go on record as changing my opinion on RGIII 180 degrees. I love him, he is the most exciting player to hit the NFL in a long time.

And in reality, no one else does either. We could lose by 3 touchdowns.

You commit to stopping Morris? RG pulls the ball and completes the pass for 10-15 yds.

You stay back in coverage? Morris gains 5 yds a clip. Or RGIII pulls the ball and decides on his own to throw it short or run for 10 (or more) by himself.

I'll admit I am 100% turned around on RGIII (thought he'd fail) and his ability to adapt his game to the NFL -- he is getting it done, he's much smarter than he was originally portrayed, he can throw, he can run, and he's a genuinely likable kid as well.

yea, that's called the option and its a college play ........

it can only work in the NFL in the short term .......

the defense for that is you pound the QB every opportunity you have .......

granted they are doing a good job of creating a passing threat out of it but it works because of GG3 ability to run ....

It's called the pistol and most experts say it works just fine if you have the personnel. One team does.
