Default Oscar Pistorius - should he be kicked out of the paralympics

Oh, not for competing in the regular olympics... But for falsely accusing a fellow athlete who happened to defeat him in the 200 meters of cheating.

    http://edition.cnn.com/2012/09/03/sp...row/index.html

The limbs used by Alan Fonteles Cardoso Oliveira were completely legal and within the required length according to the officials of the race. A slow down of the tape by another website that I can't remember shows Oliveira just had a much quicker stride then Pistorius.

I believe Oscar Pistorius should be expelled from any other events for making such an accusation and throwing the event into turmoil. Pistorius just lost all my respect.

rules are rules but this doesn't make him look good after all that great press he got in the real olympics ......

he should have kept his mouth shut and been a good sport ......

plenty of time for an investigation afterwards .......

maybe he should worry about why he ran a 21.30 in the prelims and then a 21:52 in the final .....

You also have to question if the paralympics is about natural ability or about who can afford the latest technology. Pistorius has always been a spoiled rich kid from a mega-millionaire family.

He has apologized but I still believe he needs to be expelled from the games.

Only for the timing of his whining, not for the whining itself.

    What a poor sport.

A little off topic, but if you can qualify for the regular olympics, you should be unable to participate in the paraolympics.
